Hello everybody! I hope you had a good return to work. Here is my latest video, focused on TV shows that "pretended not to be soaps, but actually were". In case the title is not clear, this top 10 list features series from the last 40 years whose creators and cast didn´t consider as soaps, though there were enough elements in them to call them soaps. It´s my personal opinion and, as usual, any comment will be welcome. Big spoilers for all 10 shows, though all of them ended years, even decades ago.

I have just transferred my soap scores to my "Supersoaps Channel" in order to have all the material together here. There´s only been one new upload (a selection of "Dynasty´s" Pilot Themes) and several more of this same show have been blocked (thanks Mr. Spelling who are in Hell...). I will get more ready for early 2025. If you want some specific episode of the 4 supersoaps to have their scores recorded and uploaded, please tell me below.

Here is the very last video of the year, featuring those episodes from the 5 major soaps that aired during the Christmas Week, though none of them was Christmas-themed. Not even those from "Dynasty", "Falcon Crest", or "Knots Landing" that were so... Happy New Year to all!

Here´s another video, this time dedicated to all the Larry Hagman fans out there (who isn´t?). Its subject is about the times J.R. was the worst (I had to reject the idea of making a Top 100 video!), with 13 choices throughout the first 13 years of the show (minus the Dream Season, oddly). Enjoy it and please give your opinion! More "Dallas" videos really soon...

Have you ever wondered what a poll for supersoaps fans would look like? I can tell you what it would say if we counted only the YouTube users.
Recently my soaps channel reached the number of 11.200 subscribers (which I don´t know what exactly means since I don´t trust too much on internet or YouTube or figures in general).
I just wanted to share with you some of the info the Stats section gives me on a daily basis. First, let´s take into account that my channel essentially covers the four major supersoaps (the 2 D´s, KL and FC) with slight touches of the "cursed ones" (Flamingo & The Colbys, of course).
Where fans are:
Countries: USA, UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, Australia, Italy & Argentina.
Cities: N.Y., London, Atlanta, L A., Chicago, Praga, Sidney, Dublin, Reikiavik, and Baltimore. Also (the real) Dallas is ranked a little below.
The most watched video is the introduction to Dallas (At the Beginning) with almost 250.000 visits. It is followed by a Dynasty Episode Anthology, Tribute to Kevin Dobson, best Dynasty quotes and finales, Knots episode Anthology, best Character introductions, tributes to Linda Gray (anyone surprised here?), seduction scenes and Dynasty catfights.
Viewers age: Mainly between 45 & 54, 55 & 64, and 35 & 44. Funny isn't it?
Sex: Male. (61%) and Female (39%). No info about gay viewership...
Watched on... Mobile phone? How dare you...? Also on TV, pc & tablet.
Finally a top 10 for the current year so far. The most watched videos are...
First 3, Dynasty. 4, Dallas. 5, Dynasty again (catfights), 6, Pam. 7, Sue Ellen. 8, JRs Lovers. 9, introduction to Dallas. 10, Separation scenes.

Voilà my Top 10 video dedicated to late director Michael Preece´s best scenes from "Dallas" (and a couple from "Falcon Crest" too). At first I didn´t know he had filmed so many of my favorite moments, so it was really hard to select just these 10. You will probably miss one here, just because I found it impossible to edit and it is too long. Heard about Miss Ellie´s rampage over the southfork china...? I hope you like it.

Just edit to correct a mistake in the above post, when I said that my YT channel had reached 10,000 subscribers. It WAS not right then, but it IS right now: 11,000 Supersoaps fans enjoying their guilty pleasures all around the world!! I´m very happy to be able to keep their legacy alive very humbly.
