I just realised that in recent years, around Christmas, I haven’t been watching movies. Instead I’ve been going back and re-watching fan videos of The Colbys characters & interviews with some of the actors or actresses who appeared on the '80s TV series. Sad but true.
By chance today, I ‘hit’ on 3 Maxwell Caulfield videos in a row that interlinked beautifully.
Thought I’d share them with you here:
First up, is an old interview with him by Good Day!’s Eileen Prose I only saw today. ….Have just realized this interview's been posted on the Dynasty Videos thread ….but I’m going ahead and posting another copy here because it’s the very, very last bit, about Miles, that links it to the others.

Next, a scene from The Colbys, featuring Jason & Miles. I always thought the framed photo of Miles on Jason’s desk was oddly placed. It intruded too much into his work space. Yet, it wasn’t always there. Perhaps that was all symbolic of the difficult nature of their love-hate father-son relationship.

Last, a recent fan video by Old Movie Fan, this time about Miles & Sable. (Some might recall that OMF had made & posted a series of The Colbys & Dynasty trailers on the old forum several months before it crashed.) …The Miles-Sable video plays to the song “You Raise Me Up”, which is the same song (different version) another fan had chosen for an In Memoriam tribute to the late Ricardo Montalbán KSG (Zackary Powers). OMF had also made 2 Sable & Zack videos, so I suspect the song choice for the Miles-Sable video was deliberate. ….I’m sure I’ll grow to love this one. Seeing all these various scenes of mostly son and mum, back to back, makes me realise just how much of a support they were to each other. Wherever you are, Old Movie Fan, danke!
