I find it interesting that Madonna is using a title that has been used so many time before, I dare say she's being reductive.

I keep seeing these things on Facebook and the like, Madame X is a cabaret singer, Madame X is a tango instructor and Madame X is a whatever. And the there is a part of me that wants to mock it, Madame X is a hotdog vendor, Madame X is a Dental hygienist, Madame X is a nail technician, Madame X is on Death Row....

Why is this not a thing?

Not my taste anymore. Elton John is going to have a field day with Madonna using autotune...or whatever the hell pop stars are using today. Now before everyone jumps on my critique I first liked Madonna from her early days. Way back to Borderline and Holiday. As Madonna ramped up her changing styles in music I went along for the ride. But I think my music tastes have changed to a point where I no longer enjoy her current styles. But that's neither Madonna's fault or mine...it's like an amicable divorce.

If she would forget the dance pop garbage and sing adult songs without auto tune, that would be great.

The new song is sort of blah. I hope the other tracks of her new album are better.
I tend to like her new ballads more than her upbeat dance songs.

I think the trailer for the album shows some promise. I don't know which tune was used at the beginning but that one seemed good.

I don't know what to think of her new single "Medellin", it sounds very different, so I don't really want to give a judgment on the new song yet, I notice that with the last two albums of Madonna I have to give myself the time to listen very carefully, and then I hear that it has turned out to be a nice album anyway, so I'm curious what the rest of the album will sounds like.
