Today marks 10 years since Madeleine McCann went missing on the Portuguese Algarve. Her parents still remain hopeful that they will find her. What are your thoughts on this case? And do you think there is any hope of Madeleine being found alive?

IO've always suspected it's been connected to human trafficking, they act so swiftly without always leaving a trace.

Part of me hopes she is found safe so the parents can say 'We told you so'. But I still don't agree with her being left alone.

No of course and I wouldn't leave a child for a second in a strange country but people make mistakes. And they have to live with that every day.

Perhaps. But I had an instinct about them when they gave a press conference: they seemed to be submerged in guilt --- not simply grief, nor the normal guilt a parent would feel after their child is snatched.... Something else.

I tend to buy into the 'accident-death-by-parents' theory in this case. Though no one should taunt them over it, it's true.

Unlike JonBenet, where I'll never doubt who the killer was.

I dont think that there is a chance she is still alive

I think her parents were irresponsible for leaving young children unsupervised in a house and alone -
its not like they couldnt afford a baby sitter

but they have to live with that on a daily basis that they made a mistake and must feel so guilty for thet bad judement call

I don't know what to believe when it comes to the Maddie case! Over the years, there has been so many different theories about what happened to this sweet girl.

Maddie has been in my prayers since day 1. And whether she is alive somewhere or if she is in Heaven now, I just hope that she is at peace and somehow know that there are lots of people around the world thinking of her and her family!

Ten years of Madeleine's abduction being prominent in the media and over 10 million pounds of UK tax payer's money being spent on the search for her, not to mention that which the Portuguese government have paid.

In the UK, 140000 children go missing every year so that's about 1.5 million children since Madeleine McCann went missing. Isn't it about time our government reallocated some of those resources to find some of those other missing children instead of giving so much resources to the search of the child of the neglectful McCanns?

There are a lot of people who now believe that the McCanns were guilty of killing their daughter and that it is a tremendous cover up. What does anyone think truly about that?

If they were guilty of these I can't help but wonder why they continue to search and look for answers. That would make them incredible sick and possibly stupid at the idea of someone uncovering the truth.

IF they did it, they are covering it up for fear of losing their other two children and their careers. But if it is the case it must be a living hell.

That's certainly an interesting way of looking at it. I'm just not sure it's what they would do. Maybe if they kept a low profile I might say it's possible, but they haven't and continue to keep the case active.

It's so hard to know isn't it? But again if they were really twisted and guilty they could be doing it to make themselves look not guilty.

It really is and you can almost feel really bad for thinking they may have killed her, if they didn't.
