Strong scenes with Alya tonight, Shelley King and Sair Khan were excellent.
Nice to see Stephen getting a bit of his own medicine.![]()
So far, it's been absolutely bang on and the way they have written it does have you feeling a little saddened for Aaron. He is totally in the wrong and this is something that really needs to be taught in schools all over. Consensual sex is serious and I dread to think how many people have gone through what Amy has. I'm glad they are doing this.I was actually surprised by tonight's Corrie. It has actually done the Amy and Aaron storyline well so far.

The big problem for me in this story is that they go too far that it becomes ridiculous. The whole story has been marred with coppers not taking it seriously, and the court scenes were stupid. Why didn't they have witnesses there to back up Daisy's complaint? I can believe that some people may believe Justin's story, as far-fetched as that sounds, but they have everybody in authority basically mocking Daisy and all the script keeps saying is 'get everything logged down'I’m getting bored with the Justin / Daisy storyline now.

Silly scenes where Justin comes into the Rovers and no one else is in there apart from Daniel and Daisy. Daisy shoots off to the back room with Daniel following, leaving the Rovers empty of all staff/security because it suits the story.
The writers are trying to show how vulnerable Daisy is, yet they keep writing about her walking around on her own and we know that the busy street always becomes silent and ghostly when there is a baddie lurking in the shadows.
Absolutely! I miss the days for a slow burner of a story, but it appears that all the soaps tend to go too far by keeping the story on the front page with every possible angle they can. Also, the amount of focus they have on repeating parts of the story, It’s like they think the viewer is slack and can’t follow a story. Or perhaps it’s for the casual viewer, though I wish they would give the regular viewers more credibility. The longer this story drags on for, the more ridiculous it is becoming.
Until Christmas I believe. Sadly this show is dying on it's arse.I think that the dastardly Stephen is going to have to get ”found out” at some point soon in the not too distant future.
How much longer can he credibly carry on getting away with it![]()
I'm wondering if she realises what is happening and moves her hands to protect her face, therefore damaging her hands/arms that can be covered up.I wonder if this will spell an end to the excellent Daisy’s long term future on the cobbles once the attack has taken place
