Adam Sandler plays a backetball scount who discovers a talented player while travelling in Spain and brings him back to the USA when he sees his potential to play in the NBA. The film is packed with cameos from basketball royalty including Dr J, Dirk Nowitzki and Doc Rivers.Adam Sandler has come a long way since starring in films like the Waterboy and proves he is an accomplished dramatic actor too. I liked that the story was told in a straightforward manner without endless flashback and other mechanisms loved by Hollywood to create a more interesting narrative. Although this is primarily a basketball story, it&#039;s also about leadership, mentorship and never giving up on a dream, a sort of Rocky for basketball.</blockquote>
