It's almost entirely shot in reduced lighting and for a lot of the dialogue the actors annoyingly spoke in whispers or they mumbled. The sound editing seemed to be all over the place, on occasions I could barely hear what was being said and on other occasions I needed to turn the volume down because it was too loud.
