Her hate and jealousy stems from the trauma caused by mother Gertrude&#039;s (special guest villainess Gene Tierney) favouritism towards son Dexter, but she doesn&#039;t know that the favouritism extended to sexual abuse.This all comes together in a very emotional climax but only Krystle is allowed to cry.
