Ever wondered what the renowned theme theme (created brilliantly by Bill Conti) and the new season 9 version (synthesised by Patrick O'Hearn) sound like, side by side. Well here you are complete with stills from some of the finest vineyards in California (including Napa and Sonoma Valley), promotional screen grabs from season 1 and the season 4 cast image to finish the video after Patrick O'Hearn's reworked theme tune completes playing. There is a gathering at the Falcon Crest mansion and one of the firm's best product is discussed; (a scene from season 1, 1981-'82) Angela: "This is a 1970 Cabernet Sauvignon. It's the first wine Julia made for Falcon Crest. Julia, why don't you tell us how you gave this wine such a rich bouquet?" Julia: "Well, you must blend in some grapes from a soil with a very high limestone content." Angela: "Like the soil on Jason's property."
